• FITS THESE PART NUMBERS - Replaces EQ-304-20 and EQ-PFC.35, also listed as EV953420. Fits the whole house systems that take that pre and post pairing. If the cartridges you are pulling out carry either number, this is the right set.
• CHANGE BOTH AT THE SAME TIME - A pre-filter tells you it is finished by dropping your water pressure. The post-filter does not give the same warning, so most owners change the pair together rather than tracking two schedules. Typically every six to twelve months depending on your supply.
• WHAT THESE CARTRIDGES DO - They capture particulate: sand, silt, dirt, rust and scale. For any specific contaminant you are concerned about, look for a system certified to the NSF/ANSI standard that names it, and if you are on a private well, start with a water test.
