About This

  • 【Unparalleled Processing Performance】MINISFORUM N5 Air desktop NAS has an AMD Ryzen 7 255 processor (8 cores, 16 threads, up to 4.9GHz). It also comes with AMD Radeon 780M graphics(12 core 2600MHz). Supports multi-user access, simultaneous retrieval of multiple files, and ultra-high-speed decoding of audio and video playback. Say goodbye to the cumbersome operation of traditional hard drives and build your data management center, providing centralized storage, automatic backup, remote access, and rich RAID options.
  • 【5-Bay, 174TB Massive Data Storage】N5 Air equipped with five SATA HDD slots: supports 30TB x 5, and 3x M.2 NVMe SSD slots: supports 8TB x 3. The N5A NAS has a maximum storage capacity of up to 174 TB. Multiple Raid modes for data security, supports Raid0, Raid1, Raid5/RaidZ1, Raid6/RaidZ2, and mixed drive strategies for hot data and cold backup, speeding reads and cutting storage costs.
  • 【10GbE+5GbE Network Ports】This NAS is equipped with 1x 10GbE high-speed network port and 1x 5GbE network port. 10G + 5G dual LAN ports support link aggregation, delivering 15Gbps speeds. 10GbE networking powers high-speed transfers for cross-team collaboration, large file handling, and parallel multitasking.
  • 【Expandable Storage】MINISFORUM N5 Air NAS has been pre-installed with 16GB DDR5 RAM (2x DDR5 SO-DIMM slot, up to 96GB). DDR5 5600MT/s offers 75% more bandwidth than DDR4, ideal for high-concurrency and large file handling, supports more VMs, and provides smoother data.
  • 【Rich Connectivity, Total Flexibility】N5 Air NAS support Dual USB4, each USB4 supports up to 20Gbps Thunderbolt Ethernet. PCIe ×16 slot supports 10GbE NICs, GPU expansion, and SSD cache arrays for ultra-low latency storage. Boost read/write speeds without upgrading your system—Plug and Play.
  • 【OCuLink Support】Our N5 Air NAS is equipped with a native OCuLink interface. OCuLink is a standard for externally connecting PCI Express, the speed is PCIe4.0 x4=64G. With this port, you can connect to an external discrete graphics card to enhance gaming and AI capabilities, supporting faster speeds compared to Thunderbolt 4 and USB4. Note: This interface does not support hot-swapping.
  • 【MinisCloud OS, All-in-One APP】MinisCloud OS seamlessly supports Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android with zero learning curve. Built-in features include ZFS snapshots, LZ4 compression, multi-user isolation, Docker apps, AI photo albums, and one-click remote access—fully managed, ready to use.
  • 【Innovative design】Minisforum's slide-out motherboard allows quick RAM and SSD upgrades, simplifying maintenance. Modular design supports standard RAM, avoiding onboard limits for flexible upgrades. Dual 9025 large axial fans actively cool HDD bays, ensuring stable and cool operation at all times. A Compact 199×202×252mm frame holds 5 drives in a 4-bay space, delivering 25% more storage.
  • 【8K Triple Video Outputs】This N5 Air NAS is equipped with 1x HDMI (8K@60Hz/4K@144Hz) and 2x USB4 (8K@60Hz/4K@144Hz) Ports, allowing you to connect up to 3 displays simultaneously. Increase work efficiency by expanding multiple workspaces.
  • Note: MINISFORUM N5 Air comes with the NAS system MinisCloud OS, which is installed in the machine's built-in 64GB SSD. The system disk has occupied one of the three M.2 SSD slots in the machine. If you need to use all three M.2 SSD slots, you need to uninstall the system disk yourself. You can use a third-party system using a USB flash drive to insert it into the machine's internal USB port for installation and use. At the same time, you will no longer be able to use the MinisCloud OS system and related functions.
